Miguel Palma

Miguel was born in Lisbon in 1984 and graduated in Industrial Design from IADE, where his fascination with form and structure found its voice. Today, he leads Serip’s Projects and Design Department, bringing a distinct and contemporary edge to the brand’s artistic universe.
As an artist with a modern vision, Miguel sees nature not only in its organic softness but through its hidden geometry. Drawn to asymmetry and structure, he reinterprets natural inspiration with a geometric and conceptual approach. Inspired by Mother Nature, Serip’s timeless muse, Miguel translates her essence into a bold and contemporary language, blending raw essence with clarity of form.
His designs emerge as sculptural yet precise, expressive yet deliberate, a dialogue between chaos and order, instinct and purpose. Each piece he creates carries this subtle tension, where opposing forces find balance and contrast becomes harmony. He is the creative force behind some of Serip’s most celebrated collections, including Geyser, Carpa, Dali, Lotus, Luna, Calathea, and the more recent and modern Quartzo Collection.
With a contemporary and a fresh perspective, Miguel transforms the unexpected into elegance, reshaping the boundaries between nature and design.
